Lillyhall Holsteins - Pedigree Holstein Cows

Byresteads Farm is the home of Lillyhall Holsteins situated in the Lake District National Park overlooking the fells of Loweswater & Buttermere.

The herd was established in the early 1980's with breeding emphasis on production, type and temperament. During 2001 the herd was taken on the foot and mouth contiguous cull, it was later re-established with some family members from the former herd plus specifically chosen cattle. In 2003 Allan & Christine dispersed their herd but daughter Ruth continued Lillyhall Holsteins
